#OctPoWriMo2016- Day 14, Prompt : Shameful
Today would like to deviate from the prompt and pen down some thoughts swirling in my mind about the month October, my favorite time of the year.
Attempted Poetry form : Villanelle
Gleaming rays of the Sun,
Sneaking through the green foliage,
Playing hide and seek with the stream, ageless.
The soft breeze kissing the petals,
Swaying to and fro in the fun,
Gleaming rays of the Sun.
Music is in the October air,
I stare at the beauty around me, speechless,
Playing hide and seek with the stream, ageless.
Basking in the glorious solitude,
A love story has begun,
Gleaming rays of the Sun.
Prancing back to the childhood days,
Days accentuated with innocence seamless
Playing hide and seek with the stream, ageless.
Let all worries dissipate in
The gleaming rays of the Sun
Playing hide and seek with the stream, ageless.
Day 15: Prompt - Blue
Attempted poetry form : Musette
Hope!
Melancholic blue
The sky
And the dew!
A glimpse
Of the moon
Vanished in eclipse!
The dawn
Orange with hope
Fear - gone !

Both are very good. The first drew me right to that space and that feeling!
